Something for Bethy When I meet Bethy in the land of my dreams, with blossoming meadows and golden mountains, where rivers flow like silk; we will talk and talk and talk. We will dance among the stars. We will swim in rivers and oceans, but we'll never get cold for our love keeps us warm. We will ride on dragons and play hide and seek with unicorns and pandas. We will try and make the longest daisy chain in the world. We will ride on siver moonlight that gets slashed open by grassbaldes and scatters light and love everywhere. We will laugh and laugh and laugh with all of Bethy's friends who pass there. But I know that our lives go too fast, and that I am here, on this earth. I will live every day as if it was my last. I will love everything I see. i will feel every breath I make. Also I'll read books, and have fun. Fun is so important. If Bethy has taught me anything (and she's taught me a lot) it's that life is short and precious; and even though there mat be obsticles, always have FUN, and live life like an overflowing jar of pettles: always further than the brim! Matbe the reason she left early was because she lived life as full as possible. When I look up at the stars, i can almost hear her laughing as she dances among them. "'In one of those stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look up at the sky at night... You - only you - will have the stars that laugh!' [...] 'You understand... it is too far. I cannot carry this body with me. it is too heavy.' I said nothing. 'But it will be like an old abandoned shell. There is nothing sad about old shells...'" - The Little Prince - by Merry
