I remember doing face paint and glitter at Bethy’s party years ago and being given all sorts of obscure animal based requests from her friends. She, however, seeing that my talents didn’t go very far, kindly opted for a simple glittery butterfly on each cheek to match her lovely outfit. Bethy was a unique balance of kind, thoughtful, curious and beautiful. I will carry fond memories of her wonderful fun weekend costumes each year, and the great fun we had together babysitting. With her unbelievable strength and adventurous spirit she has truly left her mark on the world and on all of our hearts.
