We first arrived in Cotherstone in late 2015, and Will & Hattie started at the local primary school in early 2016.  They were used to starting new schools, but there is always a fear of going somewhere new.  It was therefore so wonderful that almost on her first day at a new school that Hattie came home beaming with smiles saying that Bethy had invited her for a playdate!

Hattie was just so pleased to be welcomed so quickly into the village, and that Bethy wanted to be her friend.  I think in world record breaking time Emma had invited Hattie over to play with Bethy - Hattie was tickled pink, and will always have a very special place in her heart for Bethy.  Such a simple gesture, went such a long way with the new-girl in Cotherstone.
